En Debian Testing existen ya los drivers para esa impresora en específico: Epson LX 300+

Hola, un saludo para todos. He usado satisfactoriamente los driver de la Epson LX-1050 de foomatic. Espero le sirva.

Rudy y comunidad.. recuerdo haber echo algunas impresiones con Epson LX-300/+ sobre ubuntu 8.10 sin ningún tipo de problemas... nada mas fué agregar la impresora y listo...!!!!

Estimados amigos, he modificado el driver de la IBM Proprinter Pro con las configuraciones de Resolución de la Epson de 9 Pines y me ha dado buenos resultados.
Imprime a ambos lados y con mucha rapidez puesto que solo pasa 1 vez para pintar las letras.

Acá les dejo el ppd si alguien lo mejora un poco pues que lo postee también.
Espero les sirva de algo.
