Ayuda con Conexant

Hola tengo en la casa una netbook hp 530 con ubuntu-natty y no logro que me funcione el modem, ya descargué los driver de linuxant (ya que mi modem es Conexant CX20548) pero me da un error cuando trato de compilarlos. Necesito Ayuda...

Recuerda que debes tener instalados los paquetes: linux-headers-versióndelkernel, make, gcc y dkms, sin estos no puedes hacer la compilación. Para saber qué versión de kernel tiene tu sistema, escribe en consola el comando: uname -r.

De hecho, bien podría combinarse el comando uname con el nombre del paquete linux-headers:

Cuando trato de instalar el deb: alsa-linuxant-driver, para despues poder instalar hsf-linuxant-modem (ya que este depende del anterior) lo extrae y todo vien pero cuando el trata de recompilar el kernel y añadirle sus módulo da bateo.

Tengo instalados los paquetes que dices con las siguientes versiones:

make - 3.81-8ubuntu1
dkms - 2.1.1.2-5ubuntu1
gcc - 4.5.2-8ubuntu4 (su verción coincide con la que se uso para compilar el kernel)
perl - 5.10.1-17ubuntu4.1
linux-headers - 2.6.38.8 (su verción coincide con la del kernel que tengo instalado)

Pero me sigue dando bateo, e incluso hice un upgrade y nada... Aqui les dejo los logs a ver si alguno de ustedes sabes que es lo que pasa porque yo ya estoy cansado de leerlos y nada

Recuerden compañeros foristas que los driver de linuxant son para kernels menores que 3, es decir que si tu linux posee cualquier kernel 3.0 o superior no les funcionan estos drivers.
si tienes los driver para windows puedes usar el ndiswrapper para montarlos en linux, pero buena suerte tratando de que el sistema te lo reconozca.

No, no tengo los drivers de windows... Y los driver que tengo si funcionan en kernel 3.0 o superior que los descargué yo mismo de linuxant.com

los colegas de linuxant aclaran bien claro como el agua que los drivers ya no estan siendo actualizados y que se requiere quien trabaje en su actualizacion, los driver que tu bajaste de linuxant que son los mismos que tiene todo el mundo no corren en kernel mayor o igual a 3.0 porque en este kernel se elimino un archivo llamado smp_lock.h que ahora hay otra funcionalidad que hay que actualizar los driver, etc. Asi que no se de donde saceste esos "driver que funcionan en kernel 3.0 o superior".
